Challenges
The reason why we suggested this idea, is because the eLearning campus had too much to offer and very little to support it.
Here are some of its drawbacks and challenges that we faced in earlier versions:
- Hundreds of Automated DMs were too much to handle for a manager.
- Untrusted payment sources and delays for fee collection.
- Scheduling multiple separate classes simultaneously led to some appointments being missed.
- Manually monitoring syllabus progress, class assignments, and customer support, projected the image of an unreliable system.
- Many visitors could not make it to the final conversion, due to lagging and unresponsive landing pages.
- Needed to create a “Teacher's Panel” to hire more teaching staff of different nationalities, and expertise, and from different time zones as well.
- Proper network for teachers to register and find students after evaluation measures, and security checks.
We planned to create a fully functional, lead-generating business website from scratch, which involved several things to consider.
Solutions
1. Requirements Analysis
Having conducted comprehensive interviews and information collection about the eLearning campus's content strategy, needs, goals, and projected scope, gave us a better idea of how to approach their website creation.
2. Website Structure and Design
Developed a perfect correlation of web pages and hierarchy. Experts made it way easier for search engines and online visitors to navigate their intended content. Designed multiple appealing UI illustrations for a better look and feel.
3. Creating a Lead Management Process
Developed a valid automated system for collecting leads, qualifying them, and using defined strategies by eLearning Campus to turn browsing into conversions.
4. Hosted Payment Gateway
This education platform demanded that we integrate a hosted payment gateway for re-routing users, completing transactions, and then redirecting users back to the site for a secure and assured experience.
5. Developing a Content Management System (CMS)
For the eLearning Campus team to manage its massive content and traffic, we came up with a powerful and easily understandable CMS. By doing so, we streamlined their scattered users to a single lead-generating platform. Allowing team members to keep track of incoming students, schedules, quotes, registration, demos, payment, and learning progress.
6. Transforming landing pages
Designers came up with a strategy to transform and renew the lagging landing pages into high-speed & responsive ones. By avoiding stuffing and unequal visual uniformity, we added CTAs that drove traffic.
7. Admin Panel
For interconnection between team members of the eLearning campus, we created a back-office platform to optimize their workflow and streamline business affairs. This was designed specifically to root out performance anomalies.
8. Become a Tutor
For registering people who wanted to be tutors on the website, had to go through security checks, connectivity tests, and online evaluation. Which was nearly absent from the previous workflow. Our QA and security experts ran rigorous tests to check for IP, region, etc. to eradicate any possibility of data breach or unwanted personnel.
